Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases from getthedocs.com (“GetTheDocs”, “we”). By buying, you agree to them.

1. Products

We sell downloadable Microsoft Excel workbooks. Product pages describe what each workbook does and the software it requires. Product images are design illustrations; the Worked Example edition in each download uses fictional data.

2. Licence

On payment you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for use by one organisation (unlimited users within that organisation). You may copy the files for your own internal use. You may not resell, sublicense, publish, share publicly or redistribute the workbooks or any part of them, or use them to build a competing product.

3. Your responsibility

The workbooks are tools that support human financial review. They do not authorise payments, detect all errors or fraud, or provide accounting, tax, legal, audit or financial advice. You are responsible for the data you enter, the settings and exchange rates you use, your decisions, and for checking results before relying on them.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars and are one-time payments. Taxes are calculated at checkout where applicable.

5. Delivery

Files are delivered by download link immediately after payment and by email.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, data or business. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
